All of our furniture is built from solid hardwoods utilizing time-tested construction methods.  Precise mortise and tenon joints, breadboard ends, and wooden pegs hold our products together, and keep the need for glue and metal fasteners to a minimum.  Wood expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity.  Our furniture is designed and built to accomodate this natural movement while remaining strong and beautiful.  Feel free to call or email us with any questions or concerns.  We are very proud of our pieces and want you to be just as proud to have them in your home.

At Quartersawn Custom Woodworking we want you to be as excited and happy with our products as we are.  If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with an item please contact us and we will make it right.  Because of their size and weight our products are shipped as freight to keep delivery costs affordable.  We will happily accept and refund the cost of products returned in their original condition for any reason with the shipping cost to be covered by the customer.

Our tung oil finish is very durable and easy to maintain.  A soft cloth or microfiber towel should be used for dusting.  A solution of one tablespoon white vinegar mixed with one quart of water is the best, and environmentally friendly way to clean our furniture.  It can applied directly with a towel or spray bottle to remove  spills.  NEVER USE ABRAISIVE SPONGES OR HARSH CHEMICAL CLEANSERS AS THEY WILL DETERIORATE THE FINISH OVER TIME.

While we have limited numbers of most items in stock for immediate shipment, we can build any product and have it on its way to you in 5-7 days. Please contact us for product availablility if you need an item immediately.

Every piece we build is individual and unique.  The photographs on our site are intended to give you a close approximation of how each item will look, but are not necessarily photographs of the exact item that you are ordering.  Due to variations in wood color and grain patterns every piece will be slightly different.  We are happy to send photos of a specific item for your approval before we ship it to you.  Feel free to call or email us with any questions or concerns that you may have.   

In order to insure their safety our products are carefully packed and shipped in plywood crates.  To keep transoporation costs affordable, items are shipped with a freight company.  The cost varies depending on your zip code and shipping preferences.  Most of our fully packaged items weigh in excess of 100 lbs, and you may prefer a delivery truck with a lift gate to assist with unloading.  To receive a shipping quote we need to know the following information:

1) The address where your product will be delivered.

2) Whether this address is a home or business.

3) Whether or not you require a lift gate on your delivery truck.

4) If you would like white glove delivery service.
